Christmas Island. 1879 Registered cover franked 3c and 10c from Boston to "Christmas Island, Grand Narrow, Cape Breton" with "CHRISTMAS ISLAND / C.B" backstamp, and 1882 cover from the island with the same datestamp, bearing Small Queen 3c. Also 1914 cover with "REAR CHRISTMAS ISLAND / N.S" c.d.s, and 1937-38 covers with "CHRISTMAS ISLAND / N.S" c.d.s. (5).
