Documents from this war are coming up in our 334th auction of February 10-11, 2012.
Austria is well represented as always, the K.u.K. Monarchy comes about occupying the Danube principalities of the Moldau and Walachia. Serving in the first years from 1854 as field post supplies some offices became later also regular offices for civilians and kept their status until 1865 as Austrian consular post offices in the Levant.
Switzerland with in particular the Strubel issues will certainly be a further highlight of the auction.
In the German part three lots of German States are noticeable and these truly earn the attribute of being „world rarities.“
BADEN Landpost 12 Kreuzer“was always a synonym for a valuable stamp. Including A gem of the HELIGOLAND philately was recently re-discovered through our company.
