1943 Farmer 10c brown (pos. 3-5/13-15/23-4) & 30c blue-green (pos.23-5/33-5/43-5) IMPERF PROOF blks of 9 on coarse toned wove paper & once joined in a singled folded sheet. Both also show albino impressions of the 1c on the face of the 10c, or reverse of the 30c. UN. SG J78(p) & J81(p). (The "Farmer cent issue" was, for security reasons, printed in the house of U Tun Tin, Deputy Director, Posts & Telegraphs, at 62 Tamwe Road, on an old treadle press. After the completion of printing the press was returned to its owner, who died soon after. In 1948 the old press was sold & the new owner discovered amongst the paper used for packing up the level of the platen a double folded piece of coarse paper containing impressions of complete sheets of the 10c & 30c values se-tenant, & a part impressions of the 1c).
