1931, 4 pts. lilac carmine, control number "A005.496", accompanied by 1 pta. slate and 30 c. carmine, on registered cover from "Barcelona 2.12.31" to Santiago de Chile with arrival mark 26.12.31 on reverse. The 4 pts. is probably the rarest stamp of Spanish philately- only 200 copies have been sold by mistake at Barcelona G.P.O. Only 2 transported covers are recorded (stamp has been removed from cover for examination and being refixed). Cert. CEM "autenticos...buena conservacion...no estan reparados".
