1870, 1 d. green (touched on upper margin) used on cover from Callao to Genova, Italy tied by "C38" obliterator of the British P.O. in Callao with corresponding datestamp on reverse. Thence via London with datestamp on reverse in red (MY 12, 1870) and framed "GB / 1F 90c" accountancy mark applied in black. Handstruck charge "14" in blue on front and 1870 Postage Dues 40 c. and 1 Lire (partly slight perf. faults) applied and tied by Genova (My 15) datestamp. File fold as usual (not affecting the stamps) and slight patina, nevertheless an attractive and appealing cover. (Scott 14). Catalog Price 100.00
