1908, RARE CANCELLATION "BOLO", 1 d. carmine uprating a 4 d. stationery envelope, registered mail from "BOLO A 25 JU 08 C.G.H.", ms. registry mark "Bolo 149", to Cape Town, transit mark "Eastern T.P.O. 4. 26 JUN 08" and arrival mark 29 JUN on reverse. Today's Bolo is not more than an assembly of a couple of houses grouping rather accidentally around a crossroad (and it surely wasn't much bigger in 1908), so it can be concluded that not many pieces of mail from this place do exist!
