S.Y "NIMROD"" headed notepaper, written and signed by Shackleton, "at the request of Mr Robertson, Secretary of Post & Telegraph Dept I am sending you a letter bearing stamp of this post office, Ernest Shackleton". A good Shackleton letter and autograph, presumably one of 47 identical letters written on this day in his capacity as Expedition Postmaster.
