Australia - Victoria. 1901 Transvaal 4d G size registration envelope to Sale, Victoria franked by Cape 1d (2) cancelled oval Registered Letter Office Cape Town datestamp and a G.B 5d tied by "FIELD P.O / 9 / BRITISH ARMY S. AFRICA" c.d.s, endorsed "On active service, South Africa". Redirected to Canterbury, backstamped "MONEY ORDER / SALE" (Apr 15) and at Melbourne and Canterbury. A very unusual Cape / G.B / Transvaal combination franking, possibly from the Victorian Contingent. Photo on Page 61.
