Postage Dues. 1925-47 Covers and cards from Egypt (6, one much reduced), Canada (stamps removed) or USA (2, one with stamps removed) all bearing Palestine 1924 or 1928-44 issue postage due stamps, including an unusual 1937 cover from Cairo with Army Post 10m, disallowed at the civil Post Office, bearing 2m and 13m dues. Also other covers with charge marks (4, three with charges obliterated) or violet boxed "This item is short paid .... mils / It must be fully paid before it / can be despatched to destination"; and cards informing the addressee that taxed correspondence or a packet charged customs duty await collection.
