Worldwide Stamps and Postal History

1850 Envelopes with embossed designs around the stamp box, two differing types, both with "FREE" below, one cover sent from London to Devonport bearing a 1d red (four margins), the other two stampless covers posted from London to Ware but probably originating from abroad; both are dated by the sender at least 16 days prior to posting and are endorsed "Paid", both apparently having had a coin sown to the upper right corner, one charged 1/-, the other with a Paid c.d.s but no rate shown.
