New Caledonia - NSW Used in. 1907 Picture postcard bearing New South Wales 1⁄2d and 1d each with a fine "NOUMEA / NOUVELLE CALEDONIE" c.d.s, sent locally to a Brigadier in the French Colonial forces, commentating on his ‘excellent crossing’. Very fine and unusual. Photo on Page 155.
