Azemar Letter. 1868 Entire letter from London to Hamburg franked 6d, with the senders cachet "J.C AZEMAR / 42 ST MARY AXE / LONDON" on the front, the enclosed letter concerning wine signed by Azemar. Azemar later produced his famous cancelling machine, which was trialed in London in 1869 and again in 1871-72. An interesting associated item. Photo on Page 235
