P.O.W Mail. 1940 Cover with enclosed letter from a Russian P.O.W P.G Martsuk in Camp 4, to his wife in the Ukraine, with the Finnish censors translation, the letter held back by the Finns and never sent. The letter tells of the writers capture on Christmas day.

P.O.W Mail. 1942 Stampless picture postcard to London from A. Butler, a British volunteer who fought with the Finns during the Winter War, the card sent from Filipstad, Varmland, in Sweden where Butler was now interned. Sent via the British Consul in Sweden with a London S.W Paid c.d.s; the message refers to sending mail by both the British Consul and the Red Cross. Small edge tear at base, otherwise fine and scarce. Also a 1940 letter...
