Welcome to our June 22nd auction which offers another great range of Stamps, Coins and Postcards items.
Once again the coins (lots 1-309) start off the sale with a varied and interesting range of Pre-decimal coins inc Proofs and sets followed by the usual large selection of Decimal Proof and Mint sets etc, this then leads into the Banknotes (lots 310-383) with good range of pre-decimal and decimal issues. Also some interesting World coins inc Gold and Banknotes inc some early USA material.
Among the Collectables (lots 384-443) we have some fine collections of Postcards (lots 399-411) plus Militaria, Cigarette Cards etc.
The stamp section (lots 453-1471) follows with some fine collections from Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Falkland Is, Faroe Is, Fiume, Germany (all periods), Great Britain, Greenland, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Liberia, Netherlands, Pacific Is, Poland, USA and others plus many better sets and single items.
The Australia section (lots 958-1471) inc some very fine solid collections, Kangaroos to £2 mainly used, King George V is very strong with fine range of collections all watermarks and many varieties much of which are mint. Good range of better commems and general issues pre-decimal and decimal inc varieties, the Postage Due section is also strong with fine range mint and used and some good items among Postal History and Flight covers.
The Pre-Federation States (lots 1345-1420) are well represented with some very fine collections of most.
