Group of nine items comprising 1867 Windorn N.Y. cover bearing #65 (2) and #68 (4) prepaying the 45¢ rate to USS Shenandoah at Hong Kong, two 1864 Meadville Pa. covers bearing #68 to USS Jamestown at Hong Kong, 1867 Oct 24th circa cover front from USS Shenandoah probably at Hong Kong bearing #68 and red "China and Japan Steam Service" with preprinted address to Tioga Pa. (this was this first trip that the China Japan oval was used); 1868 cover with red "China and Japan Steam Service" oval h.s. but missing stamp;1870 Hong Kong cover paid all to Waynesville Oh. bearing two HK 8¢ stamps (replacements), 1868 cover with Hong Kong 8th May 1862 letter to San Francisco with "Ship 5" rating h.s., 1836 USS Peacock at Batavia Roads to New York City, and 1832 cover from 4th Auditor that originally forwarded a Linton (Canton) China letter; mixed condition, Fine.
