1861 Philadelphia, Pa. To Bordeaux, France. Folded letter sheet franked with 1861, 10¢ yellow green + 5¢ buff tied by grid handstamps, red "Phila. Am. Pkt., 6, Dec 27" foreign mail and Calais transit cds's, reverse with receiving cds, Very Fine, a scarce combination franking and a rare usage of the Philadelphia foreign mail cancel used only in December of 1861.
