Blue "5055" handstamp, used with Panama 1894, 10c on 50c brown, corner fault, tied by "Panama, 13 Nov 1894" duplex on cover to Los Angeles Cal., Chinese directional docketing and handstamps, New York (11.22) and Los Angeles backstamps; slightly rough opening at right with light stain, Very Fine.
Scott No. Colombia F12 + Panama 28 var.; Estimate $300 - 400.
The stamp on this cover is from the 9th horizontal row of the 3rd setting and is a variety of Scott 28. The overprint height is 13.4mm instead of the usual 15.5mm and there is a comma after "Centavos".
