Blue "3931" handstamp, used with 1887-88 20c black on reddsih lilac, single and pair, latter positions 49-50 showing the "human hair" plate scratch between, couple perf flaws, tied by "Panama, 4 Set 1894" duplex on cover to Switzerland, New York (9.12, 9.13) backstamps with New York registry exchange label affixed, Zurich (9.22) arrival backstamp; cover reduced at left, right and bottom, central file fold; original Helme page accompanies, F.-V.F. and scarce variety.
