Letter with interesting war content, "I think this peace movement is only a hoax but as soon as the Spring and Summer Campaigns commence it will be the most desperate of the war if there is as many butchered as last Summer indeed. the need not boast of going to clear Maxamelian out of Mexico the deserters that come in think the war played out but you cannot ever believe a deserter from either sides. any of the union men that are catched deserting he is finished of with Old abes pattent neck-lase or a dozen bullets sent throug him as he sets on his Coffin…".
