HAWAII - Germany, 1881, cover, franked with Hawaii 6 cent Kamehameha V issue (Sc 33), in combination with pair U.S. 3 cent Banknotes (Sc 184), prepaying the Treaty rate from Hawaii to the U.S., plus the UPU letter rate from the U.S. to Germany. Hawaii stamp tied by fancy cog-wheel killer, with HONOLULU c.d.s. alongside, and U.S. stamps tied by segmented cork killers. Reverse shows magenta SAN FRANCISCO transit and framed DRESDEN arrival c.d.s.'s. A very rare combination cover, with 2006 PF certificate.
