BRUNEI: Japanese Occupation, 1944, the elusive 1c black, actually SG J1 overprinted in orange red, for which three separate handstamps were used for the overprint, full o.g., brownish as usual, with a couple of perf. stains, with a tiny 5mm. crease at bottom left, which breaks the brittle gum only & does not show on front, Very Fine, signed Herbert Bloch, 2014 BPA certificate, BPA cert states large part o.g., but actually full o.g. Scott N20. SG J20; £8 000 (11 640 CHF).
