Afghanistan, 1873 (Feb. 27), small native cover from Bhera to Peshawar, franked with 1 Shahi dated 1290 (1873), Plate VI, position. 11. (Scott 10, SG 12) with oily reddish cancel and tear cancel. Bhera, Jhelum, Rawalpindi transits and Peshawar receiver all on one side. Traces of barred cancel shows where Indian stamp has been removed. Cover with small tears, faults, some reinforced by Scotch tape which has caused several tape stains. Still, a scarce cover.
