1895, 6¢ dull brown, watermarked USIR (271a), neat black Massachusetts town cancellation, absolutely gorgeous example of this rare watermarked USIR stamp, with near perfect centering and glowing rich color, of the 27 examples that are currently known to exist, none can match the centering and margins that this stamp possesses, the corner creases are barely bothersome at best and shouldn't keep you from going this remarkable stamp, the likes of we will probably not see again; trivial creases along upper left and lower right corners, otherwise Extremely Fine to Superb; 2014 P.S.E. certificate.
