SPANISCHE POST - 1938, NOT REALISED ISSUE, set of 14 imperf. proofs "Views of Andorra", denominated 5 c. to 1 pta., prepared by the Republican Government in Barcelona in summer 1938 to be issued at beginning of 1939. The issue of a new series was necessary since most of the adhesives has been used, also due to the fact that the tiny republic was hosting many refugees from Spanish Civil War who were making use of postal services. Due to several comprehensive political disruptions and the getaway of the Republican Government to France this set couldn't be issued any more.
