1909 Registered & insured cover from the 'Banque de la Martinique' to the 'Banque de la Guyane' in Cayenne, with a declared value of 1225 Francs, franked by 1892/1906 1f., 35c. and two single of 15c., all tied "FORT DE FRANCE/19 FEVR 09", with "CHARGÉ" h/s on front, octagonal French paquebot datestamp "FORT DE FRANCE A CAYENNE L.C./23 FEVR 09", boxed accountancy h/s, cayenne arrival c.d.s. and five wax seals on the reverse. The envelope with imperfections, but a rare franking on a scarce registered & insured cover from Martinique, and a rare destination.
