Venezuela, 1938, Caracas Post Office, original artwork plus three different large die proofs in issued colors (327P1//339P1), pen & ink drawing of the accepted design on 7¾" x 9¾" card, dated "Nov. 15/37", the three proofs are the 15c dark violet, the 40c sepia, and the 5b black (329, 335, 342); all are die-sunk on full cards with markings as the previous lot of Bolivar proofs; also included is a real photo postcard featuring the view of the Post Office from which the design was apparently adopted, plus a contemporary 10" x 8" b&w photo of the same Post Office.
