1931 (21 Aug) DoX cover from Antilla to Miami, franked with 10c dark blue, bearing "Bienvenida DO-X Antilla, Cuba 21 de Agosto 1931" four-line cachet, Havana (23 Aug) transit and signed Horace J. Dickinson, Consul of the United States on back, also by Clara Adams, "Do-X passenger Rio de Janeiro to New York" and two other passengers. A fine and rare DOX cover to Miami, one of only four flown (Clara Adams was an aviator who set a variety of flying records. She's remembered primarily as the first woman to fly across the Atlantic as a ticketed passenger aboard the Graf Zeppelin on its return flight from New York in October 1928. She was also the first woman to fly aboard the Dornier DO-X)
