1866 Folded cover via Singapore to Glasgow "Via Southampton", franked by two singles of India QV 4a. black (correct British sea post rate of 8a. = 1/-) tied by Bengal type numeral "172" and forwarder h/s "FORWARDED BY/(MI)DDLETON, HARRISON & Co." in black, with red "SINGAPORE/... FE 66" and "GLASGOW/MR 22/66" datestamps on the reverse. Front of cover partially stained (around adhesives) and roughly opened back, but still an attractive and scarce cover.
