1911 (Jan 19) Cover to Captain W.F Russell, New Zealand Militia in Christchurch "per Terra Nova" with Victoria Land 1d tied by the Antarctic c.d.s, the first use of this c.d.s, used on the "Terra Nova" on the day Mt. Erebus was first sighted. Very fine and scarce, very few covers recorded with this 19 JA 11 c.d.s. Photo on Page 20.
