1927 (Dec 8) Cover to Cleveland, Ohio bearing Mauritius KGV 5c and 10c tied by Rose Hill datestamps, a USA 1927 10c Air Mail stamp tied by a New York c.d.s (Jan. 26, 1928), backstamped at Port Louis and Cleveland. US Air Mail stamps could be applied abroad to pay for internal US air mail, and were sold in certain foreign countries for this purpose. A very scarce use of a US Air Mail stamp from Mauritius.
