On arrival, marked with manuscr. large "X" (fee paid from Cyprus to Greece) on front and "20" (lepta - inland fee) on front and reverse, all in red crayon. Fee collected & affixed 20l. blue (Hellas 13IIb), canc. lozenge "2". Extremely rare.

CYPRUS: Front cover from Larnace to London. Additional 2d stamp was affixed after the obliteration of the 1/2d stamp (pl.1?). 2d stamp has the plate number "1" wich is accepted as unusual for usage in Cyprus, hence unrecorded. London "PAID" datestamp 21 October 1878, just a few months after the commencing of the British Rul on the island.
