1819 (Nov 1): Entire letter from Rio de Janeiro to Claye, France carried outside the Mails to Antwerp, reverse with manuscript 'Acheminée par Brequigne, Anvers le 29 Mars, 1820' and struck on front with straight line ANTWERPEN in red. Framed 'Pays Bas / Par / Valenciennes' below in black and charged 11 décimes due. Scarce and unusual routing.

Displays well, a scarce entire.

1835 (June 28): Entire letter to Minas Gerais struck with scarce straight line italic CAMPANHA handstamp in black with large 'dot' at the end of the handstamp similar to Meyer P-MG-12 but not identical. Manuscript '80' (reis) rate at upper right. Slightly smudged but rare handstamp.

1837 (June 26): Entire letter to Ouro Preto endorsed 'S.P.' (Servico Publico) with superb CALDAS despatch handstamp in brown (Meyer P-MG-11) and transits of straight line P. ALEGRE (P-MG-47) and CAMPANHA (P-MG-11) also well struck in brown. A fine and clear entire, rare with three cancels at this date.

Scarce framed AMERICA per ENGLAND handstamp on front panel (Van Der Linden fig. 112) applied in Aachen in black. Some aging but a rare entire.
