Our first sale of the year will be held on January 13-14th, with 1,500+ lots, including the William Bilden stock of postal history of the world, as well as properties of numerous other vendors and estates sold by their order.
There are selections of 19th Century United States, Western European countries with Austria, Benelux, Scandinavia, France, Germany, Italy and Colonies, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Great and Britain and British Commonwealth are well represented, followed by the collection and stock of Ukraine and Carpatho-Ukraine formed by Michael Shulewsky of Trizub Stamp Copmany.
There are also selections of Poland and Russia, better South America, Asia and rest of the world.
The sale concludes with 140+ large lots and collections, which range from single country collections to multi-carton worldwide groups of stamps and covers.

1863 FL from Lima, franked with 1p, margins all around, tied by 29 August cds, endorsed "via Panama" and sent via the British Post Office in Callao to France, "GB 2F87" accountancy mark, French entry pmk on front, red London transit and Bordeaux arrival pmk, some toning, rare usage

1873 2c blue ("Llamita") rouletted horizontally, large margins, tied by a double strike of 8-segment mute cancel on small cover addressed "P -" (Presente), with light circular "Lima Distrito 27 April" cds alongside. Both the stamp and envelope are affected by a small worm hole that goes through the lower left corner of the stamp, cover with some additional wear and tear and filing fold, away from the stamp, which is very rare on cover....
