Papal/Roman States, Collection. Study of issues arranged on stock and album pages in two binders; starting with the 1852 first issues with over 30 ½b singles with the range of shades and better o.g. mint, couple signed A. Diena, following denominations in similar order noting a range of cancels, again shades and print variety including oily ink, 5b with used block of 5, mixed high values with signed 50b Sc. #10 & 10a (cat $1,800 and $3,250 respectfully) with additional 50b & 1sc values needing to be checked, 1867-68 issues in quantities mostly mint, useful section of covers including early stampless, dozens of single and double 1852, 2b frankings with a nice range of towns, higher denomination frankings including combinations, few foreign destinations, better townmarks, etc.; condition varies with many nice signed items.
