AUSTRIAN SHIPS POST MARKS. "S/S Linz" ship. Cover fr. with 25H stamp cancelled with "LINZ OSTERR.LLOYDD*15 VII. 14" (type LF-14) in lilac colour, arr. "CANDIA*22 VII 14". The "Linz" was subsequently used as a war transport vesel and was sunk on 18/03/1918 off the Albanian coast.
