Mulready Caricature John Doyle; large lithograph illustration (440 x 300mm) featuring Palmerston on the pedestal, inscribed 'foreign office,' Mr. O'Connell shouting 'Hurrah for Repeal' and an unhappy Lord Monteagle being read the ill success of his last financial scheme. The inscription at foot reads, 'Published May 26th 1840 by Thos McLean, 26, Haymarket,' some tone spots and peripheral faults. A very scarce caricature. Ex. Chartwell.
