Hilliard, Paymaster 68th Regt, Gibraltar"; front sent at the 1d soldiers rate from Leeds countersigned by Walter Scott (son of the famous novelist); and 1852 cover from Portsmouth franked 1d backstamped with straight line "NAVY-POST-OFFICE".
