1936-55 Artwork by James Berry, various unadopted designs comprising 1936 Chambers of Commerce World Conference issue, pencil sketches on tracing paper (2) and detailed designs in pencil and/or ink and Chinese White (3) with two stamp size photos of suggested frames; 1936 King Edward VIII drawings for a proposed issue with borders in ink and Chinese White and pencil drawings of the King, both fine and attractive (2); 1955 Centennial of N.Z Stamps with various stamp size or larger pencil sketches on a piece of white paper and three sheets of tracing paper and two fine complete designs in ink and Chinese White depicting an N.Z National Airways Corp. plane, together with two photos of essays; and a fine 1d definitive design in ink, Chinese White and pencil depicting the Queen, endorsed above "Design later used for Ross Dependency". A unique group of essays with eight fine largely complete designs, including the two essays for the proposed KEVIII issue which was abandoned after his abdication, all of which would frame well.
