1857 (Rome - Milan - Zürich - Bonn - Goslar) Unpaid letter: The Papal States didn´t write any fee. In Prussia the letter was charged 3 SGr GAPU + 2 1/4 SGr for the Papal States = 5 1/4 SGr + 1 SGr Swiss transit = 6 1/4 SGr. In Bonn the letter could not be delivered and Bonn marked "Entlastet Bonn" Then it was forwarded to Goslar. Via di Svizzera: transit-mark from Milan, crossed out and written "p Paris", but of course not sent via France - no French transit-marks and fees
