1911 (Jan 19) Cover to Ashburton, New Zealand, bearing Victoria Land 1d tied by the Antarctic c.d.s, the first use of this c.d.s, used on the "Terra Nova" on the day Mt. Erebus was first sighted. Some staining but very scarce, very few covers recorded with this 19 JA 11 c.d.s. Photo on Page 20.
