The four day, 4,500-lot sale includes another outstanding offering of China and Hong Kong stamps and postal history, with important Ching Dynasty and Republic, substantial postal history, and large offerings of both People’s Republic and Liberated Areas. Hong Kong and Treaty Ports alone comprises over 650 lots and includes a mint Q.V. 96c. olive-bistre.
This Session is the final part of the Elling O. Eide Collection of Chinese Local Posts and includes rare proofs and artwork, along with issued stamp varieties and good postal history.
