 Lot 737 - Overseas Uruguay - Corinphila Auction AG Auction 321 - 332 Europe & Overseas Great Britain & British Commonwealth - Day 31874 (9 March): Partially prepaid cover from Nueva Palmira, Uruguay to Booterstown, Dublin County, Ireland, bearing Uruguay 1866/67 10 c. green, tied by '28' oval black bars and later in transit in Montevideo by blue grill. Oval "CORREOS NUEVA PALMIRA" despatch datestamp in blue alongside as well as French octagonal "MONTEVIDEO PAQ. FR. J No. 1" datestamp (11 March) and T in triangle alongside. Reverse with BOOTERSTOWN arrival (April 6) cds. Some cover wear and tear, nevertheless an interesting shipmail cover with only the inland part prepaid. Cert. Rocha (2008).
