1824 (July 10): Entire letter from Havana to London endorsed at lower left 'Sir William Curtis', struck on reverse with very fine step-type GRAVESEND / SHIP LETTER in brown (Robertson S5) with landing date 10/8 alongside (or, more probably the recipient had five letters and was charged 10 s. 8 d. for the group, rated 1/2 d. due in manuscript on arrival (Aug 17). A couple of minor worm holes on face panel but scarce.

1827 (May 8): Entire letter from Havana to London endorsed 'per Hidistra' at lower left, struck on arrival with step-type DARTMOUTH / SHIP LETTER in black (Robertson S3). Rated 2/9 d. due in manuscript with arrival cds (June 21) in red on reverse. Alongside the Ship Letter marking is '(£)1.8.3½', probably the total amount due from the recipient for letters arriving on this ship.

1850 (March 23): Entire letter from Havana to Santander, Spain carried outside the Mails and forwarded with oval ZULUETA & Co. / LONDON oval cachet in black (April 22), sent prepaid to Santander via France with handstruck '10 Rs.' to pay in blue; a fine entire with an unusual routing.
