1911 (Dec 28) Bechuanaland Protectorate KEVII 1⁄2d blue green cancelled by a virtually complete "RAMAQUABANES / S. RHODESIA" skeleton c.d.s in violet. Just one other example recorded, in black, in March 1913. One of the rarest of all Rhodesia postmarks, this skeleton type probably used at station telegraph offices. Photo on Page 201.

1923 (Dec 14) British South Africa Co. 1⁄2d newspaper wrapper used within Gwelo. A scarce wrapper (which is not recorded by Higgins & Gage) and an exceptional interim use in Southern Rhodesia. The Colony became a self-governing authority on 1st October 1923 and issued its own postal stationery (including a 1⁄2d wrapper) early in 1924. Photo on Page 203.
